An estimate first, then a real appraisal
When you send me your car's details, I can come back with a preliminary idea of value. That's a starting point, not an offer. The actual number comes from an inspected appraisal — someone looks at the car in person.
Condition, mileage, accident and service history all move the number. Clear photos help me give you a more realistic early read.
If you still owe on it
A loan payoff doesn't stop you from trading in, but it does affect the next steps. Know roughly what you owe and who the lender is, and we'll work it into the conversation.
About the VIN box
The form below has an optional VIN field. Decoding it just fills in the year, make and model for you so you don't have to type them. It isn't an automatic appraisal, and you can always enter the details by hand instead.
What to gather
- Year, make, model and current mileage (or the VIN)
- Any known issues, accidents or recent repairs
- Service records, if you have them
- A few clear photos, inside and out
- Your loan payoff amount and lender, if you still owe
What's my car worth?
Tell me what you're driving now. You don't have to buy anything to find out.
Questions people ask
Do I have to buy a car from you to get a value?
No. You can request a value just to know where you stand. If you want to talk about a next car later, great — if not, that's fine too.
Is the number I get from the form a guaranteed offer?
No. It's a preliminary estimate based on what you tell me. The firm number comes after the car is inspected.
Does entering my VIN give me an instant value?
No. The VIN only fills in the year, make and model. I look at your details myself and follow up.
